Pre-Fall 2010

In the spirit of this fall season, I wanted to talk about Pre-Fall 2010 collections from top designers, like Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera,DVF, and Michael Kors. I am absolutely in love with Carolina Herrera's new collection which WWD says is inspired by tango and she plays with awesome prints that bring back the twenties.

And of course what women doesn't love Diane von Furstenberg. According to Diane von Furstenberg, her girl is “breaking the rules and playing the game at the same time...controlled yet impulsive, she goes through life singing love is life is love.” (WWD) I am absolutely in awe over this collection, I love fall clothing and Diane is getting it for me!

Michael Kors brings it on, as usual with very classic pieces that will stay in your wardrobe for ever. Mix and match! There are also some WILD! pieces of course.

Last but certainly not least, Oscar de la Renta keeps hope alive. He sees no reason for clothes to lack luster just because the economy is bad. he brings a bright color palate to the plate. With canary yellow and wild prints.

Only a few of the greats but definitely excellent array of looks for Pre-Fall 2010.

  1. Personally, my favorite of these is Oscar de la Renta's collection. I love the Spanish-looking influence and the bold, bright colors and prints. These pieces would be flattering on the majority of women, which I think will make the line very successful. It's also nice to see that the hem lines are a little longer than what we've all seen for Spring.

  2. The Michael Kors dresses are so beautiful and wearable. I like the red dress, this season seems to be about the hips, they are really accentuated!
